SHARE has long been a unique and ever evolving part of Fromes community. We have an amazing support network of loyal supporters and valued customers. We have thought carefully about how we grow SHARE to become more than just a Library of Things that will also provide useful and nurturing services to those around us. We hope you find something you love.

Kids Secondhand Costume Hire

SHARE Threads kids secondhand costume hire is now live and has over 200 costumes and accessories for children of all ages. SHARE is still looking for donations of unwanted costumes so if you have any that you no longer need you can drop them down to the shop during opening hours.

SHARE How-to

Community Space For Hire

At SHARE we are tasked to help people to live in more self sufficient and sustainable ways. But we are far from experts at all the amazing things that can be done and so we have created SHARE How-to. A space where local people, groups and organisations can come to share their skills, experiences or knowledge about all things green.

SHARE Workshops

Up-cycling & Repurposing

SHARE recently applied for funding to start regular monthly workshops in our own space (SHARE How-to) and in other spaces around Frome. Some will teach methods for reuse and up-cycling of things you have at home. Others will focus on sharing and learning digital, practical, work and life skills. All will help with self sufficient and sustainable living.

SHARE Charity Shop

Secondhand Items for Sale

SHARE has been a charity since April 2022 and now we are starting our very own charity shop which will sell the second-hand donations that we receive that aren’t suitable for going into our Library of Things. It will also sell up-cycled and repurposed items made by local people from waste materials donated to SHARE or bought from local second-hand sources such as the brilliant POD Scrapstore. All the money raised through SHARE charity shop will be used to improve the services we can provide you and support other charities in and around Frome.
