Plenty of #mending and #fixing! Many thanks to all our volunteer repairers who generously gave up their time and also to those who came along and learnt new skills/got stuff fixed

Thanks to all our amazing fixers who repaired all sorts of items, from bikes to rice cookers at the SHARE Repair Cafe, including Jen Gale (@makeandmendlife), Sheila Gore, Stina Harris, Aliss Vaas, Beth Prince (Somerset Waste Partnership), Alex Hooper, Doug Insall, Mick Dunk, Chris Garbutt and Richard Chisnall.

Some of the things we’ve fixed over the last year include:

  • strimmers, hedge trimmers and lawn mowers
  • an induction hob
  • a piano keyboard
  • a smartphone that wasn’t charging
  • rice cookers
  • a CD player with a stuck cassette
  • toasters galore
  • shorts, tights, jeans and bags
