Workshops and Events at SHARE
SHARE Repair Cafe – Tuesday 16th April 10:30-15:30
If you have something you’d like to fix, the SHARE Volunteer Repair Team may be able to help. We are holding a Repair Cafe at SHARE on Tuesday 16th April between 10:30-15:30. Book a slot at this event by completing our Repairs Registration Form in full.
Please provide as much information as you can about whats wrong with your item (including photos) and then agree our disclaimer before submitting it to us. We will get in touch to organise a time for your visit on the day. If you do not hear from us, please do not turn up at this event. We will be in touch after to organise an alternative time for your repair.
If you can’t make the 16th April don’t worry. Just fill in the form anyway and we will do our best to fit your repair in around repairing the items in our Library of Things.
SHARE Check In & Repair Workshops – Mondays 3pm-6pm & Tuesdays 9am-12pm
Come and do a bit of tinkering in our weekly ‘item check in and repair’ workshops? This is where we check all the items returned to us to make sure they are ready for the next borrower and repair items that regularly need fixing. It is a vital part of the SHARE service and one that is required for us to meet with ‘Fitness for Purpose’ legislation. And when that jobs done, there may also be an array of customer items that need a repair.

Take SHARE To Work or School Day – Friday 3rd May 2024
On Take SHARE to Work Day you can borrow items for FREE from SHARE to take to work or school and enjoy with your friends and colleagues. All we ask is that you spread the word about SHARE and use your item in some way to raise money for our Library of Things. There is lots you can do to have a bit of fun and raise money at the same time. From a sponsored lunchtime carpet bowls or giant Jenga tournament to selling chocolate strawberries, popcorn or candy floss you make using one of our machines.

SHARE Upcyclers/Makers
Join SHARE’s community of valued Upcyclers & Makers. Reinvent donated items and materials by making or upcycling them into things we can add to our library of things or sell to raise money for SHARE. For now, we’re asking people to make things at home but once we have a good base of capable makers and upcyclers, we hope to start workshops to share making and upcycling skills with others.
