What are your hobbies outside of SHARE?
As I kid I loved those big ‘Complete Craft collection’ books with a hundred different things to try. And that’s pretty much where I still am today: I love to get hands-on with needle and thread, hammer and nails, paintbrush, garden spade, etc.
What do you love about Frome?
We moved here a year ago and immediately felt at home. I love that Frome has no pretensions, but gets its collective sleeves rolled up and gets stuff done.
How long have you been a volunteer with us?
About six months.
Why did you want to become a SHARE volunteer?
Selfishly, to ensure that SHARE continues to exist for my own use. In addition, I hate to throw stuff away, so it’s great to be getting good use out of things that might otherwise be unloved or unused.

Since October 2018.
Why did you want to become a SHARE volunteer?
I started volunteering at SHARE because I love projects that help bring communities together, and I like the idea of reducing waste and saving people money by sharing the things that would otherwise be gathering dust in our homes.
